Mr Chen is Chief Commercial Officer of Red Rock Power Limited (RRPL), a European subsidiary of the Beijing based global power company SDIC Power.

In his capacity as Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Chen oversees RRPL‘s existing projects by sitting on board of Inch Cape Offshore Limited and Benbrack Wind Farm Limited. Inch Cape Offshore wind farm is the 1st offshore wind farm owned and developed by Chinese enterprise in Europe.

Mr Chen also leads RRPL’s investment team to look for new equity investment opportunities in renewable energy (offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen) across Europe.

Mr Chen holds an EMBA from University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree in Thermal Engineering from North China Electric Power University.
