Dr James Li is Director of PV & Energy Storage System Product Solutions at Sungrow Power Europe Group based in the United Kingdom, which focuses on renewable energy power generation through its global market leading power conversion system (PCS & Inverter) as the heart of its PV & ESS solutions.

As lead of Technical PV & ESS in Sungrow Power Group, James’s goal is to develop and execute an EU company-wide strategy for both Solar and Energy storage systems. His responsibility in this role includes developing the PV & ESS technical team's full range of design and consultant capacity and working with product, sales, marketing, and project delivery teams to ensure flawless execution at regional and country levels.

James holds a PhD in Power System Engineering since 2007 and he started working in the power system industry through the HVDC & HVAC transmission national grid, distribution utility network and renewable generation globally - including in China, Brazil, India and the United Kingdom. He has been an IET member and Charted Engineer registrant since 2014.
