Eugene is Senior VP Hydrogen and Sustainable Technologies at Johnson Matthey. Eugene is passionate about using innovative, sustainable technologies to achieve net zero and this has been the focus of his 7 years at JM in senior roles leading strategy, technology and business development. JM manufacture critical components at the heart of PEM fuel cells and electrolysers, and design leading process technologies such as those for low carbon hydrogen, methanol, ammonia, ammonia cracking and sustainable aviation fuel, as well as being the world’s leading refiner and recycler of the platinum group metals essential for the energy transition.

Prior to JM Eugene worked for an energy major for more than 20 years.
