On 1st January 2017, Mr. Qing Pan was appointed to Jaguar Land Rover’s Global Board of Management, to the position of President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover China; and to Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s (CJLR) Board of Directors, reporting directly to Adrian Mardell, Chief Executive Officer, Jaguar Land Rover.

Since November 1, 2020, Mr. Qing Pan has been leading the Jaguar Land Rover’s business in China including Commercial, Human Resource and and Non-Production Purchasing. Meanwhile, to further streamline the operations in one of the most important markets for the company globally as a global core base, more collaborative and co-creative platforms will be created for the implementation of Jaguar Land Rover's "In China, for the world" vision.

Mr. Qing Pan is a deeply experienced automotive executive who has made important contributions to the growth of the VW Group in Asia while in different senior positions at Volkswagen, MAN and Audi over nine years.

Mr. Qing Pan has studied internationally. He was educated at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing, and holds an MS in Material Science from the Technical University, Berlin. He is fluent in German, English, and his native Chinese and has worked internationally throughout his career.
